Who to start in your Fantasy Football Lineup

Going into Week 11 with just a few weeks to make to playoffs, I think we can all use a win.   Again Im not going to talk about the obvious starts like Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, etc, Im going to mention those middle of the road guys or maybe even a guy like Larry Fitxgerald that has a tough matchup and let you know to sit him.  Similar to what I said last week about Jay Cutler.  I told many of your members to bench him because of his past history of playing at Lambaugh Field.

With that being said, many of you are playing weekly fantasy football at sites such as FanDuel and DraftKings.  This gives us a great opportunity to work in value pics for your FanDuel and DraftKings lineups everyweek since many of those guys are the middle of the road guys I spoke about such as a Mark Ingram, Justin Forsett, Mark Sanchez, etc.

This week we have three new quarterbacks in Arizona (Drew Stanton), Houston (Ryan Mallett) and St. Louis (Shaun Hill), which will could impact their wide receivers in a negative way.

Things we to know this week, before the games kickoff — will the Broncos lean on C.J. Anderson or Montee Ball in a good matchup against the Rams. Will Arian Foster (groin) be active, otherwise Alfred Blue could be a sneaky sleeper this week against the Browns.  I think Bernard will be out again, so Hill will be the guy in Cincinnati

This we will be wondering about, will Jay Cutler  rebound against the Vikings? Does Ben Roethlisberger andn the Steelers get back on track this week against the Titans. After a great game last week will Mark Sanchez be able to keep up with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in week 11.

Now let’s answer some of your start sit questions this week and find the best matchups we can for your fantasy team.

Quarterbacks to Start Week 11

Jay Cutler vs Min

Despite Jay Cutler’s performance the last few weeks, he can still help your team. I warned everybody last week that Lambeau Field has been a house of horrors for him, but this week returning home should be a boost of confidence, if not playing the  Vikings should be. Minnesota has allowed four quarterbacks, Drew Brees, Rodgers and even Kyle Orton to throw multiple touchdowns and score at least 19 fantasy points.  Cutler has scored at least 20 Fantasy points in two of his 3 home games this season.

 Mark Sanchez  vs at GB

Seems everyone is jumping on the Sanchez band wagon.  He looked good in the preseason and lets face it he has nothing to lose so there is no pressure.  His price in weekly fantasy leagues was great last week so he was a great option.

This season injuries have kept fantasy owners guessing about who will play and who will get hurt next. As we start Week 8 Brandon Marshall is still ify week to week..

Calvin Johnson  and Jimmy Graham have been decoys, A.J. Green is still not healthy and almost every Fantasy owner has dealt with a running back injury or off-the-field situation causing us to work those waiver wires..

All this chaos has made our start or sit articles extremely necessary to help fantasy owners make some informed decisions with their lineups.

Week 5 Start or Sit Advice – Who You Should Start in Your Fantasy Lineup

Start or Sit

This week most of  teams should be back to full strength unless you are one of the few Lamar miller owners (Miami and Oakland are the only teams on a bye).  Our studs on bye last week had a chance to rest up and get better and injuries were minimal this past week.

Jamaal Charles returned with a vengeance in Week 4, let’s hope it’s the start of things to come. Eddie Lacy  and Le Shon McCoy are off to slow starts can they get on track?  Calvin Johnson has struggled the last few weeks because of injury, but if healthy he should bounce back this week against the Bills.  Tom Brady is another one that has Fantasy owners scratching their heads.  He has been virtually unstartable since last year.

Week 4 Start or Sit Advice

Quarterbacks to Start Week 4

Philip Rivers (vs Jax): Its to easy to just pick the quarterback and defense playing Jacksonville and pick them as a starter, that’s a no brainer.  I put him on my list for two reasons, one I know that many people like myself play the one week fantasy games  and he looks like a good buy this week.  The second reason is, Rivers is coming off consecutive games with at least 23 Fantasy points and facing a Jaguars defense

Colin Kaepernick (vs Phi): Kaepernick is he has at least 20 Fantasy points in two of his first three games, and now he gets the Eagles defense who is giving up the 2nd most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year.  Its hard to trust Kaepernick after his past two games, but this is a must win game and he has a great match up.

Jay Cutler (vs GB): So far this season, Cutler has at least 20 Fantasy points in all three games, and at least 19 Fantasy points in two of his past three home games against the Packers. I expect him to keep this trend going and to lean on Forte a little more if Marshall is unable to go.
