Week 12 Fanduel and Draftkings Strategy Advice: Daily Fantasy Football Player Picks
Week 12 of this Daily Fantasy Football season is here. Another week to try to better our strategies and see who performed and which matchups paid off for us. That’s the beauty of DFS, it gives us weekly fantasy football opportunities. Ive used this site to provide you with the tools and techniques I’ve used not only in fantasy football and successful survivor picking, but to show you how to be profitable playing DFS
Its important to factor is to always keep an open mind and be open to new ideas even if it goes against contemporary thinking, after all the contrarian play tends to pay off in daily fantasy football as it does in the stock marketing. I make sure to look back on the previous week’s results and whenever possible, adjust my strategy and techniques in an effort to maximize returns whenever possible and see what ideas of mine worked and which did not. Learning how to make your money last by playing cash games as well as GPP contests has gone a long way to keeping a nice bank roll going.
Looking back to week 11, I had a great FanDuel week, winning almost all of my matches with the exception a a few GPP contests with 57,500 people in it.
Now on to the week 12 match-ups.
Week 12 Game Breakdowns
KC @ OAK (42.5) Here is another Thursday night game that doesn’t really interest me. Other than Jamal Charles being a great play against the Raiders poor run defense, I may also consider the Kansas City defense for the right price.. If we get word that the Raiders will use Latavius Murray this week, he would be a sneaky play this week.
CLE @ ATL (47) All the talk this week is about the return of Josh Gordon. Im sure everyone will have him in their lineups this week, especially since Atlanta’s defense has been terrible. As far as running backs, Cleveland got us last week by switching between West and Crowell. Atlanta is easy to run on, so I’d consider going with whoever is named the starter this week. Cleveland Defense had some more injuries again this week and they have not bee great against number tow receivers, so that puts the Atlanta Offense is in play once again. Ryan, Jones and White (good number two WR) are all good starts. The Ryan to Jones stack has not been working very well, so I may go with the Ryan to White stack as a contrarian play in GPP’s.
TEN @ PHI (48.5) Vegas sees this on as a high scoring game and expect the Eagles to win by 11 or so (maybe 30-17). So if the Eagles put up 4TD;s in this game and as we saw Monday Tennessee can’t stop the run, this could this meana big day for McCoy. I woulding use him in a cash game, but if the pricing is right, I would use McCoy in a GPP lineup. I’d also start Sanchez, Maclin, Matthews and Philly D in this one.
DET @ NE (48) Another one of the higher scoring games this week butDetroit is a top 3 Defense. And New England has been playing some great football especially at home.. I actually see this game going both ways, being very low scoring and becoming an incredibly high scoring, I definitely think the Patriots have the advantage at home team so I’d be more inclined to start the Pats Offense, Brady, Gronk, LaFell and Edelman.
GB @ MIN (48.5) Green Bay is big favorite on the road this week. The Packers offense is all in play this week, Rodgers, Nelson, Cobb and Lacy as well as the Packers D. The problem is that pricing around the Industry has gotten pretty high so it will be tough to squeeze many of these players in to lineups. As far as Minnesota, McKinnon is the only playable option especially for the price.
JAC @ IND (50.5) The Colts are 14 point favorites in this game and put up 3o something points on the Jags the last time they played. I think I want to stack Luck and Hilton this week and I’d consider, Richardson, Wayne and even Viniterri as strong plays this week. The Colts D isn’t great but against the Jags at home I would consider them. For the Jags I would consider starting Denard Robinson as he could get some decent garbage time yards.
CIN @ HOU (43.5) This should be a close low scoring affair. I don’t trust a lot of guys in this game. I may consider Green and Hill for the right price.
NYJ @ BUF (39.5) The weather up in Buffalo could be a big factor if they can even play this game. The Jets run defense has been very good this year, but their pass defense is another story. Teams have been throwing on the Jets all year and the Bills and Watkins did this just a few weeks ago. Watkins is the only fantasy player I would consider rolling out there this week.
TB @ CHI (46.5) I see this game going over the projected points. Chicago should dominate on offense in this game. Cutler, Marshall, Alshon and Forte are all strong plays this week. For Tampa McCown and Evans are solid plays. Simms may be a sneaky good punt option at RB,
AZ @ SEA (42) I don’t like anyone in this game this week. Not sure who I would turst.,
STL @ SD (44) Another game I don’t really like. St.Louis defense was good last week and San Diego hasn’t been looking that great. I like Floyd for the right price as a value play and Tre Mason as an interesting RB Punt.
MIA @ DEN (49.5) One of the higher scoring games this week Miami has quietly been playing some good football. I could see this game being competitive especially with Sanders and Julius Thomas looking doubtful this week. This should give Damerious Thomas’ stats a boost this week I also like CJ Anderson and Jacob Tamme, Welker and whoever fills in for Sanders as good GPP flyers
WAS @ SF (44.5) The Redskins looked terrible last week.. The 49’ers are a 9.5 point favorite in a game. I’m not a fan of the 49’ers offense. They have been so unpredictable as far as who gets the targets and who’s scoring. I’d consider Boldin, as he has been quietly hitting double digits and the San Fran Defense is for this week.
DAL @ NYG (47.5) I think this could be a good one. A Divisional rivalry between two teams with questionable defenses. I like a few Cowboys in this one, Romo, Bryant, Demarco Murray and even Terrance Williams could be in play here. For the Giants, ODB should be a good value play and if Jennings plays he would be, but that’s it..
BAL @ NO (50) Well the Saints are now losing even at home! Vegas sees this as a high scoring and competitive game. Baltimore’s secondary is weak so stacking Brees and Graham is certainly a good option again. Cooks is out for the season should provide some upside for Kenny Stills and Colston. I prefer Stills as a GPP play sleeper. New Orleans Defense is not great this season even when they are at home. Flacco and Forsett are both playable. Smith Sr. is due for a big day, but until I see one, I cant trust using him. Baltimore’s run defense is has been pretty solid so I’d fade Ingram this week.
