Week 11 Fanduel and Draftkings Strategy: Daily Fantasy Football Player Picks
Last week was a tough one, somehow I did really well on FanDuel with my lineups, but ending up not doing as well on DraftKings. Between injuries to Ronnie Hillman and my Steelers guys (Rothlesberger and Brown) a few of my lineups didn’t perform as well. I had a feeling they wouldn’t do well, so good thing I only put them in one lineup. I had one lineup with Sanchez, Matthew, and Olsen, but lost some games to players that loaded up on Eagles vs Panthers game players such as Benjamin, Olsen, Sanchez, Matthew, and Celek
Most of my picks and calls were good from last week such as pairing up Rodgers and Nelson who torched the Chicago defense. It appear that Rodgers and Nelson are the best stack so far this season.. They look pretty strong for the rest of this season.
Once again I’m fading the Thursday games and its paid off once again. In DFS games its important to maximize any advantage possible such as finding guys people are overlooking and exploiting statistical anomalies. This week players like Green, Hill, Sanu and even Dalton were over-drafted because of their past performance and as a result scoring for the Thursday GPP’s was down significantly.

BUF @ MIAMI (42) – Im going to pass again on the Thursday night game. I will use the Miami defense in a few lineups but its the only play in this game.
HOU @ CLE (42) – Houston will be rolling Mallet out there this week and without Arian Foster no less. With the low O/U and Cleveland’s unpredictability theres no reason to touch this game. Cleveland Defense is in play because of the potential for a shaky start for Ryan Mallet.
MIN @ CHI (47) As one of the higher games this week, this game in has potential. Football players are a prideful bunch. With the Bears spiraling out of control, Vegas still sees this as a close and fairly high scoring game. I like Chicago receivers Marshall and Jefferies as a contrarian and value play this week. The Vikings D has been good vs the pass and poor vs the run so Forte is definitely in play in this game or should I just say as always.
PHI @ GB (56) This will be the most targeted game for fantasy this week. The Packers are what we thought they were (Denny Green reference), amazing. Rodgers is playing his best football since the 15-1 season and the GB receivers, Nelson and Cobb have been unstoppable. Lacy has benefited because of that pass attack, the same why Hillman has benefited in Denver.
Davonte Adams could be relevant in this game as wekk, though I thought he would have been used more last week. The Eagles offense has been good. Sanchez put up some good numbers last week. The question is, can he keep it up on the road in shootout type game?
Jordan Matthews broke out last week as did Brent Celek. Matthews will be highly owned this week but will Celek For $4500 on FanDuel I think he makes a great sleeper play as Sanchez my need to lean on him again. McCoy should have had a breakout game last week, instead put up another dude, salvaging it with a cheap goal line TD. I like everybody from this game and will target them in both my FanDuel and DraftKings lineups.
SEA @ KC (42.5) This game doesn’t do much for me. May be a defensive game with a putting duel for field position.. Kelce is a very good value option at TE this week with Fasano out this week.. Thats about it. Maybe Charles as a contrarian play but that’s all.
ATL @ CAR (46.5) Who will do worse in this game. Newton who couldn’t do anything last week or Matt Ryan, who only put up 15 points against Tampa’s D who has the worst pass defense in the league is embarrassing. All the usual suspects on each team are in play for the right salaries.
CIN @ NO (50.5) The red rifle’s terrible performance this week makes him hard to trust. The Bengals have the leagues worst run defense, so Im all in on Mark Ingram this week. DFS players will be focused on the big two games(IND vs NE and GB vs PHI) this week so stack Brees to Graham as a contrarian GPP play. Gio is a no go this week so Hill.is also in play at a good price.
TAM @ WAS (47) Oh have you not hear, it was my understand that everyone has heard…. Tampa’s defense is terrible! DeSean has emerged as the star WR for WAS over Pierre Garcon so far this season. His price is a bit overvalued for me, but has been putting up numbers every week.
DEN @ STL (51) I think they asked Jeff Fisher if they had a chance. Could this be a trap game? After all St. Louis has beated some good teams this season. My biggest question is which Denver RB will get the TD’s?. Hillman is out so it comes down to CJ Anderson versus Monte Ball. I’m leaning toward Anderson since Ball is just returning,, though I took him out of a few lineups just in case. Obviously play all your Broncos.
SF @ NYG (43.5) The 49ers are getting some guys back on defense this week. Vegas sees as a low scoring defensive battle judging by the over under. I don’t like any 49’ers players on offense this week and personally I don’t like any Giants either. If I had to pick one maybe OBJ.
OAK @ SD (44.5) After some bad weeks, San Diego is a 10 point favorite and should put up some points in this game. Matthews should be back and in his starting role, and is at a very good price $4500 if you gets enough touches. Start.Rivers, Gates and maybe Floyd ($5,400 on DraftKings).
DET @ AZ (41.5) – This looks like a low scoring game and will probably pass on this one other than the Lions Defense. Stanton has a good rapport with Brown, but I feel the WRs are unpredictable. Detroit’s defense is really good so I would play them.
NE @ IND (57.5) This game could be one of those back and forth touchdown games where you leave the punter at home. All studs are in play for both teams are in play. Brady, Luck, Gronk, Hilton, Wayne, Lafell, Bradshaw and maybe Edelman and Vereen. Try to get as many of these guys as possible in to your lineups.
