FanDuel & DraftKings DFS NHL Hockey Lineup Advice February 13th 2016

Last night was a great daily fantasy hockey night, with Shane Doan killing it and Nestrasil putting up a nice game for his low price tag on Fanduel and DraftKings.   My winning NHL lineup on FanDuel was 42.9 and on DraftKings 46.6 fantasy points.  Tonight we have 8 games to choose from so it should be a fun night of NHL DFS Hockey, so lets get started!

Ryan Miller (FD $81,00 DK $7,200)  gets those dreadful Maple Leafs we  talked about. Although he isn’t getting much support, he has yet to yield more than 2 goals in his 4 outings. Not many people will be on him but he’s also in a great spot.

Martin Jones (FD $81,00 DK $7,200) has a good match up tonight with the Coyotes coming to town.  Arizona doesn’t  take many shots on the road this season and averages 2.62 GP, but only 2 GP on the road.

Left Wing Player Picks

Benoit Pouliot (FD $6,200 DK $4,800)the Oilers have a very favorable matchup at home against the Jets tonight.  With Taylor Hall being demoted to the second line and for his high price,  I would fade him and go with Poulioit. Benoit Pouliot has ben more consistent and has found success on that second line with Connor McDavid.

Andre Burakovsky (FD $4,800 DK $4,500) Even though he was held scoreless on Thursday, he has been very consistent  over the past few weeks since moving up to the Caps second line. Before Thursday night’s game, Burakovsky had been on an eight-game point streak, scoring ten points during that tiime. Burakovsky sees time on Washington’s second power-play unit.

GPP:  Daniel Sedin is bound to produce soon and it’s going to be in a big way.

Right Wing Player Picks

Jordan Eberle (FD$6,700 DK$5,700) is a must start tonight. In the 6 games since McDavid has rejoined Eberle, he has played very well scoring 10 points. Eberle plays on Edmonton’s top line and top power-play unit and just scored his first career hat trick Thursday night against Toronto HIs price, along with his line mates is rising so take advantage while you still can especially in this great match up.

Shane Doan ($5,100 DK $4,500) has been hot lately.  Last night he played a big part in my DFS NHL lineups scoring 2 goals and 1 assist on 6 shots.  He has a tough matchup in San Jose tonight, but for his low price tag and his 5 goals and 5 assists in the last 10 games hes worth a shot if you need some salary cap relief.

Other Options: Kyle Okposo (FD$6,600, Jaromir Jagr (FD$5,500), Bobby Ryan/Mark Stone, Reilly Smith ($4,800),
GPP play: Patrick Eaves FD $4,200 DK $3,700 is playing on the top line with Seguin and Benn, and just scored hat trick in last night’s game.

Center Player Picks:

Connor McDavid (FD $7,800 DK $6,900) what can I say, hes been a fantasy stud lately.  Since he has returned, his line mates have all become fantasy relevant. Set him and forget him until he cools off!

Joe Thornton (FD $6,200 DK $5,400). This guy is about as consistent as they come.  He is on a four-game point streak which includes three goals and three assists. He has 13 points in his past 10 games. Thornton plays on the Sharks’ top line and top power-play unit.

Other Options: John Tavares ($9,000)

Nick Leddy (FD $4,900 DK $4,500) has five points in his past four gamesand plays on the Islanders’ top power-play unit.  They have a good matchup tonight facing Carolina.

Erik Karlsson (FD $7,800 DK $7,700) Since acquiring Dion Phaneuf from Toronto, Karlsson has three points in his past two games,. He plays on Ottawa’s top power-play unit., but event hough his price tag is a bit high(especially on DraftKings), he is the most consistent fantasy defenseman and has a nice match-up tonight against Columbus.

Other Options: Dustin Byfuglien (FD $7,200) Marc-Edouard Vlasic (FD $5,200)
GPP Play: Andrej Sekera (FD $3,700 DK $3,300)
