Daily Fantasy Football: Finding the Hidden Value Picks FanDuel Week 10

FanDuel Cheat Sheet for Week 10

We all play Daily Fantasy Football in hopes of winning big money, but that requires us to play large GPP tournaments with tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of players.  The only way to separate your team from others is to find low cost players that have a high ceiling along with drafting a number of studs to create a winning daily fantasy football lineup.

Top Quarterback Value Picks

Kirk Cousins $6,500 –

The Saints defense is at the bottom of nearly every defensive category this season. They rank 32nd in touchdowns allowed and fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks per pass attempt.

We all know Kirk Cousins is known for having bad games, but he also possesses the ability to put up some big fantasy games like we saw in Week 7, putting up 300 yards and four total touchdowns. Against this defense and his ability to put up numbers, Cousins makes a great GPP play this week on FanDuel AND DraftKings this week,

Joe Flacco $7,500

Flacco has averaged 19.8 points per game the last 4 weeks, and even losing Steve Smith for the season, Flacco should get enough volume to put up fantasy numbers. Their terrible pass defense causes them to get into shoot outs every week, so he’s worth a start.

Top Running Back Value Picks

Darren McFadden $7,000

McFadden has had 20-plus carries in the last few games.  He’s averaged over 100 rushing yards per game in his last three contests. The Buccaneers have allowed over 200 rushing yards to opposing runners the last two weeks.  Behind that Dallas offensive line, he should put up good numbers.

James Starks $6,000

Now that Starks was announced as the No. 1 running back he has more value if you need a low cost back that will get some volume, but how much? I could see both backs splitting touches and there should be some late game volume.  *Update:  Lacy is inactive this week, making Starks much more valuable

Top Wide Receiver Value Picks

Stefen Diggs $6,000

Last week Antonio Brown had his was with Oakland’s corner. While Diggs is not at Brown’s level, he’s a similar type of receiver, and should get back on track after the first quiet game of his career.
Kamar Aiken $5,400

Aiken will be the No. 1 receiver in Baltimore’s offense, and he should do well.  His targets and fantasy production increased the last time Steve Smith was out and . Last week, after Smith went down, Aiken caught five balls for 59 yards. While he’s seen at least seven targets a game this year, he could see double-digit target upside if this weeks game turns into a shootout. The Jaguars’ pass defense has not been good the last few weeks, so he makes a great low cost player with volume to add to your lineup..

DeShawn Jackson

DeSean Jackson  is one of my GPP flyers this week.  If Cousins puts up number, Jackson should have a decent day. Jackson’s first game back was terrible, but that is to be expected coming back from an injury.  This week he could rebound, lined up against Brandon Browner who has been struggling this season.  With Jackson big play ability, hes worth a low cost GPP flyer this week.

Allen Robinson $7,500

Baltimore’s secondary ranks last in almost every category this year.  With almost no pass rush, and all their cornerbacks struggling, they are a fantasy WR dream. If Allen Hurns is out this week, Robinson could push for 12-15 targets minimum. With the potential for a shootout, you should work a few players from this game into your lineup this week.

Top Tight End Value Picks

Jordan Reed $5,800

In order for Cousins to take advantage of this great matchup, he will need to lean on Reed this week. New Orleans allows the most yards per game to the tight ends this season.

Benjamin Watson $5,500

Watson having a great year on his comeback tour. If this game turns into offensive battle, I’d expect Watson to be involved.

Top Defense Value Picks

Steelers $4,600

The Steelers get the Browns and Johnny Manziel this week.  Johnny football is usually good for a few turnovers.

Packers $4,900

Green Bay gets the Loins home at Lambeau where the Lions have not won a game since 1991!  Fun facts aside, the Lions offense has been in disarray and opposing teams seem to know what plays they are running.  Calvin has not been Megaton this season and the high hopes for Abdullah have not panned out.
